Genetic inactivation of the polycomb repressive complex 2 in T cell acute lymphoblasticleukemia

Genetic inactivation of the polycomb repressive complex 2 in T cell acute lymphoblasticleukemia

Nat Med. 2012 Feb 6;18(2):298-301.

Key findings in this paper are as follows:
The presence of loss-of-function (not gain-of-function) mutation and deletions of the PRC2 component in 25% of T-ALLs.
Activation of NOTCH1 specifically induces loss of the repressive mark H3K27me3 by antagonizing the activity of PRC2, by unknown mechanism.
