Mukherjee et al.とLevedeva et al.の２つのグループからPAR-CLIP (photoactvatable-ribonucleoside-enhanced crosslinking and immunoprecipitation)　法によるRNA安定化因子HuR結合部位解析についての論文が報告された。HuR結合部位は主に3'UTRに見られたが、驚くことに30%程度はイントロンに結合していることが新たに分かり、HuRのRNAプロセッシングにおける関与が示された。3'UTRのHuR結合部位はmiRNAの結合部位とはオーバーラップしないが近位にあることがわかった。HuRのsiRNAを用いたmRNA-seqでのトランスクリプトーム解析により、PAR-CLIPで同定されたHuRターゲット遺伝子について、HuRによるmRNA安定化作用、オルタナティブスプライシング制御が確認できた。またPAR-CLIPと従来のRIP-chipを比較すると、70%程度がオーバーラップしていることがわかった。
